Bitcoin has fallen from last session’s breakout near $84,600 to roughly $81,294, and in doing so it has slipped below the daily MA50 at $81,786. The shift is not subtle. The 2H, 4H, 6H and 12H frames have all turned bearish — MACD lines sit below their signals, -DI dominates the 4H (36.2 vs 6.6) and the 12H and daily frames, and money flow is distributing across the board (4H CMF -4.0, 6H -5.3, 12H -2.7, daily -9.3). The daily CMF at -9.3 is the loudest signal in our analysis today, and per our rules it is the single most important bearish override when price is falling.
We have to be honest about our last call. On October 21 we held a defensive 24H HOLD with a base band of 83,500-85,000 and a 42% base probability. Price did not consolidate in that range — it broke down, closing near 81,383 on October 22, well below even our bear band ceiling of 82,800. That is a miss, and we own it. Our October 19 48H HOLD was a hit, as price reclaimed 83,600 and closed above the 83,556 trigger we set, settling into the bull band.
The picture now is a conflict zone. The weekly frame is still healthy — ADX 44, CMF +14.7, MACD histogram +1,874 — so the macro uptrend is intact. But the shorter frames are oversold, with the 4H StochRSI at K 5.5 and the 12H at K 11.0, which raises the risk of a technical bounce before any further decline. For the next 24-48 hours our analysis leans defensive. We watch 81,000 and the 80,880 low as support; a daily close back above 82,000 with the daily CMF turning positive would be the first sign of a reclaim. Reduce size and let the money flow confirm before committing.
