BTCUSDT Knocks on 84,000: Conflict Zone vs. Intact Uptrend — Oct 11

Bitcoin is knocking on the 84,000 door again and the tape is split: the 2H, 4H and 6H MACD histograms flipped positive and the 4H CMF printed a strong +31.5, yet the 6H and daily CMF are still distributing — the hot-air-balloon signature. We treat the recovery as a conflict zone: 24H HOLD with size down 20-30%, support 82,700, rejection zone 84,188-84,500, and only a clean 84,500 reclaim with positive CMF turns us constructive. #TechnicalAnalysis #CryptoTrading #MacroAnalysis #FederalReserve #BTCUSDT #bitcoin #BTCUSDTTechnicalAnalysis #BTCUSDTPriceAnalysis

Bitcoin is knocking on the 84,000 door again, but our analysis says keep the conviction light. After bottoming near 80,350 on October 8 and building a base around 81,500-82,600, BTC has recovered to about 83,585, tagging a local high of 84,188 before easing back. The intraday momentum is clearly improving: the 2H, 4H and 6H MACD histograms have all flipped positive, the 4H CMF is a strong +31.5, and the 4H +DI has reclaimed control over -DI. On the daily and weekly frames the uptrend is intact, with price above all its key moving averages and the weekly ADX at 40.9. But the higher timeframes are not as clean as the bounce suggests. The 6H StochRSI has pushed to 97.7, deep in overbought territory, and the weekly StochRSI sits at 94.6. Per our encoded rules, that combination usually triggers a consolidation or pullback within a session or two. More concerning, the 6H CMF is -12.8 and the daily CMF is -9.7, both still negative even as price rises. That is the hot-air-balloon signature we watch for: a price push without real money-flow support.

Combined with a negative daily MACD histogram and the weekly MA-90 ceiling at 88,929, we are treating this recovery as a conflict zone rather than a clean breakout. Our previous call from October 9 was a defensive 24H HOLD, and it hit: price closed at 82,948 on October 10, comfortably inside our base band. The 48H long we placed on October 7, however, missed, because price broke below the 82,600-82,700 support we required. The lesson is to respect the CMF distribution before chasing strength.

For the next 24 hours we are HOLD, sizing down 20-30%. Watch 84,188-84,500 as the rejection zone and 82,700 as first support, with 80,923 below that. Only a reclaim of 84,500 with positive 6H and daily CMF turns us constructive.
