BTCUSDT Holds 83,000 but the Money Flow Says Watch the Exit — Oct 14

Bitcoin is holding 83,000 — but the money flow is quietly leaving the balloon. The hot-air-balloon signature is back: price rising on distributing CMF while the weekly uptrend keeps the floor intact, and only a clean reclaim of 84,500 turns us constructive. #Bitcoin #BTCUSDT #TechnicalAnalysis #CryptoTrading #MacroAnalysis #FederalReserve #BTCUSDTPriceAnalysis #BTCUSDTTechnicalAnalysis

Bitcoin is holding the 83,000 zone after a volatile stretch, but our analysis keeps the conviction light. Price sits near 83,420, having rebounded from a dip to 81,000 on October 13 and stalled just below the 84,000-84,140 resistance cluster. The intraday picture is improving: the 2H, 4H and 6H MACD histograms are all positive, the 4H MACD line has reclaimed its signal, and the 2H +DI has edged back over -DI. On the weekly frame the uptrend is genuinely intact, with the ADX at 42.7 and the weekly CMF a healthy +12.3, and the daily price remains above all its moving averages.

Yet the higher timeframes keep sending a warning we have learned to respect. The 12H is bearish, with -DI at 37.0 well ahead of +DI at 15.1 and a negative MACD histogram, and the daily MACD histogram is still -500. Most telling, the daily CMF is -9.7 and the 12H CMF is -4.3, both distributing even as price rises. That is the hot-air-balloon signature: a price hold without real money-flow support, and it is exactly the pattern that has burned us before.

Our previous call from October 11 was a defensive 24H HOLD, and it came in partial: price fell to 81,808 on October 12, into our bear band, so the defensive posture avoided a losing long even though the base-band hold we favoured did not materialise. The lesson is to keep trusting the CMF distribution over the headline bounce. Our longer 48H long from October 9 did reach its bull band, closing 83,733 on October 11, but the reclaim trigger of 84,500 was never met and the move stalled. For the next 24 hours we are HOLD, sizing down 20-30%. Watch 84,000-84,140 as the rejection zone, 82,784 and 81,097 as the first supports, and only a reclaim of 84,500 with positive daily CMF turns us constructive. The weekly structure remains our backstop, but we will not chase a push that the money flow does not endorse.
